At first I had bought in the media market, the Creative Sound Blaster Play, which was however not properly shielded from mobile phone radiation. Basically, this was a good sound and also supported all functions.
After the exchange I have decided for the product described above, which is the same price level.
I need the sound card for normal music playback, games and Skype etc. a Sennheiser PC150 headset. I have connected any external boxes or installation.
In summary, I think the product just great. It supports all functions (microphone and speaker). The different sound profiles and settings via software leave nothing to be desired. For those who have problems with their onboard card, I recommend this USB sound card. I have two weeks rumgeärgert drivers. I could have saved me. The price is to be incorporated perfectly fine. An alternative would be the Creative X-Fi Go (Pro), to which I, however, can not say anything.
Pro:
- Screening (hardly noise)
- Sound and settings (various sound profiles.)
- Plug & Play is quick
- USB extension cable (10cm)
Cons:
- Size (-> can be bypassed with the extension cord)
- "Freeze" of the driver (-> separating and reconnecting solves the problem)
Neutral:
- The holes which act as speakers, backed by blue LEDs.
