I use the 433 MHz transmitter in conjunction with my Rasperry Pi and the Elro AB440S / 3C Funksteckdosen.
Everything worked right off the bat:
Transmitter with Raspi connected, installed a few programs and configuriert, and already comes a real home automation Feeling on. :)
I use the way now for something to play around a very nice server I've found in Google Play Store. Just look there for "RC Plugs". The program is very beginner friendly, there must be very little done with the terminal. Most will be configured using a web interface.
But now to the transmitter itself:
Because, unfortunately, not very strong antenna were installed at the station itself, you have to have this upgrade to get an acceptable range (about 17cm long wire to ANT pin). However, that is probably not a big expense. In addition, the soldered legs are perhaps get a bit thin, because I was always afraid that one of them bends in my Veruchsboard when plugging. Fortunately, however, everything went well.
Conclusion:
Works great. Therefore from me a clear Kaufenpfehlung!
