I bought this adapter for my Sony HDR-CX730E in conjunction with a Rode Stereo VideoMic and am disappointed it completely. The adapter separates from the holder of the Sony Camera as this can not be secured properly to the one side and on the other hand can not be the Rode VideoMic fasten properly, or if it even holds then the micro is not straight but does not indicate to where I use the Cam look there.
Do not buy it worthless
