FIVE STARS 2

I got the IE800 now since about 3 months almost daily use. Before I ever had about 6 months to IE6 and then the IE80 in the ear. The IE6 made already a lot of fun, which was damn good IE80 and I could not imagine being rauszuholen as more of an ear to me.

I am unhappy with the sound descriptions ... But little is really pure madness. Since coming Details to light that I've never heard before, voices and instruments are reproduced incredibly authentic, Drums wander through the head and the bass - which I do not find too dominant, as I have already read several times - are furztrocken and extremely detailed massaged into the ear canals.

The cable is actually microphonic susceptible, but I wear the IE800 over ear and the cable always under the shirt, t-shirt, whatever through. So I have the "problem" actually eliminated.
Also, I've read that the IE800 is susceptible to wind, ie, that one on the bike performs very strong wind noise for example. Since I found was the IE80 me its angular design significantly more vulnerable and I because IE800 over ear wear and thus the base ports are angled backwards, this phenomenon is eliminated by its round shape.

Thus, in my ears hardly criticisms remain, I am absolutely delighted with this ear. Ok, the cable to the listeners are likely to be longer, in general, the cable is rather short, but I'm highly just 1.71, bothers me less. Processing investigated otherwise has no equal and the stage is just huge for such a small handset. MMN significantly greater than that of the IE80. You do hear all the instruments out individually. Sometimes I feel I would have distributed tens of small micro speakers in and around the head - Genial !! Surround sound effects are almost generated.
Also the price is quickly forgotten when you consider how much detail, high contrast, clear, pleasant or powerful he plays one of his love Ling music ear ... assuming Good shots! ... And I have long hesitated, because it is not available in Switzerland, let alone demo is ready.
So I thought to myself; A properly cursed good sound system with the best acoustic Vorausetzungen you never canst likely, so you order the thing. CHF 850.- are pocket change compared to the tens of thousands of francs for an insanity system all inclusive. And all the wonderful hours of me IE800 has already brought and (hopefully) will bring the price to me is worth all.

Now I have the 3 IE 800 - 1. When a listener failed and the cable stiffened over time. When 2. the cable stiffened again. The service offered by Sennheiser is but very exemplary and fast ... and since the sound is simply second to none, remain FIVE STARS

Addendum of 08/30/2014

Sennheiser has now 7 times changed my IE800. Always because of hardening of the cable. Meanwhile, this problem is done away with and the cables remain soft and supple. From serial number 20,000 there should be no more problems. At this point again, 1A Service and the listeners and remains a sound sensation.
