As some of my predecessors have reviewed here, the fan is very loud (under load). Once you anything CPU-heavy performing (games etc.) turns the fan on quite a bit. But if you only surf the Internet and listen to some music, the CPU and thus the fan shuts down significantly. The CPU in the clock speed and the fan in speed (AMD Cool 'n' Quiet thank to 800 MHz and "quiet").
That said, I am very pleased with the CPU. Fulfilled my request total. Smooth gameplay (with the appropriate graphics card) and fixed work (if you must unfortunately be times).
All in all, there is a buy rating. For the price a very good CPU!
