I got the hood bought in May 2012 and owned this now for almost a half a year. A cover protects 2 bicycles, which I have placed outdoors. By the elastic band keeps this very well over the wheels and has never been blown away even in strong winds. The seams have no visible damage after a half year. I would go back to buy the plane at any time. I will report again next year ...
