Papp-VR goggles to tinkering on a budget. However, I have this "part" never really paid attention ... Because I've always thought that the idea was perhaps quite cool, but you can implement that but otherwise well for little money, especially because of the "front's visions HOLD ".
Since then the VRB60 of Pearl comes into play, a quasi Cardboard plastic with padding and rubber bands for the corresponding maintenance. The attempt was worth the 20 euros, and I've not regretted it, this much I can ever say.
This is in my opinion, to a mixture of Gear VR and Google Cardboard.
It fit into great phones, and not only just the Note4 or S6 (Gear). Although I must say that Note3 fits really good in there, shut up and the built-in foam provide a secure grip. The mobile phone does not wobble. I can not say anything to smaller phone because not tested. In principle, I think that the 1080p resolution of note is quite good for something, more naturally always goes!
Problem is just that you, each time you open the flap has to use to the phone without the appropriate accessories that I myself do not possess. Honestly, that's just so, because one should rather compare the Cardboard as the Gear. It is just to get a glimpse of VR and not to keep long hours gaming sessions. The processing of the part ... is exactly back price, pretty cheap. BUT, I did not expect anything else and was therefore not
disappointed. Actually, I was even surprised that you still think ... yeah, my first VR goggles. Although others have head encouragingly and wild look around in the area, so then you think ... horny, finally is something you wait a long time, close enough to touch.

I have no comparative figures, but I think that the Oculus and Morpheus will be much much much more convenient while still retaining let no ambient light in, which is also not necessarily the case here.
A 3D effect also comes across, since each eye gets its own image! By the middle "partition" the right eye sees only the right half of the mobile phone display, the left just left. This said partition reflects a little, so that one right and left of the image

The sound comes just ausm phone, one perceives it, is also sufficient completely, if you want more, you need Bluetooth headset, as you do not come with the pawl to Cell ... maybe you I do not at least because what tinkering.
The lenses ... well ... I do not have comparative figures, but I say nevertheless times, that they reflect the price. I can at least see everything and read quite well. I'm contact lenses and glasses. Optimized for contact lenses of course. But my glasses also fit in there, but without being better.
The funniest of the whole thing is that my Frau'chen (26) also extremely enthusiastic about being part of the, even though I always tell her that she should rather have seen this as "rumgespiele", which is what come, should again be a completely different house number, it still has fun with it. When the "right" glasses come, I'll be able to probably beg, also to let me once again.
Meanwhile, it is of course more in the corner, and brought more out for presentation purposes. But I watch over and over again in the Store for new apps. So gimmicks like movies so watch etc. I have actually not been tested ... but she would be in my opinion not suitable, because I can not imagine the spectacle for the entire duration of a feature film to have .. For it is then but too uncomfortable. That is also the reason why I give only 4 stars, I think it would definitely have been possible to make it a bit more comfortable, and the mirror effect of the partition you could possibly achieved by a not so smooth and thus less reflective surface.
But then also the mentioned price still plays a significant role for the still very good 4 stars. You can not expect much for something that costs 20 Eur if there are comparable glasses from her system that cost 10 times (GearVR) ... To make that clear, the Gear VR I would also like, even much better when this VRB60, but the hurdle is simple (buy a new mobile phone and 200 dollars for GearVR put it!) too large. Had I the alleged RRP 50, - paid, I would probably give 3 stars. With well over 50, - but would then also given only 2 stars.
I just think that this spectacle is worth the money in any case, you can invest these 20 Eur quiet times to get a first impression, if a VR at all interested, and you also have a correspondingly powerful phone. The effect works, albeit with various minor restrictions -> Comfort and mirroring.
In contrast to the image, standing on the front flap thick Pearl on it and the pads are red. Ultimately, could not care less.
