The 16GB flash drive (purchased in October 2014) has a shortcoming that makes it useless for my purposes: It is recognized by Windows 8.1 as a local drive and not as a removable disk. Therefore, it is not possible for me to install the USB flash drive encryption software "USB Safeguard", which is mandatory in operation with us. The software refuses to use because it does not detect removable media.

Even if the drive is indeed fast (55 MB / s write, 172 MB / s read aloud h2testw on my Win8.1 USB 3.0 computers, comply with the instructions on the packaging: Write 50 MB / s, 245 MB / s read), so I can only recommend it conditionally, because it does not allow the installation of encryption software. The included on the stick is not an option for me. Therefore, I forgive only one star and send the stick back.
