The "Iris" makes a very nice light in the entire color range. You should conjure up in certain areas of the room color accent to the wall. This makes the light, in spite of the relative to the housing rather small light-emitting surface, quite outstanding. An entire room can not illuminate with "Iris" alone. Hab in 24 sqm 2 x "Iris" and 3x E 27 Hue in use. There are restrictions on the orientation of the lamp, since only a flattened housing surface is present as the base. So you should think about a possible site before buying. I got the two lamps placed behind the speakers and each aligned with the center of the wall.
The lamp can be starting from version 2 to connect easily with the Hue Bridge. The remote control can be learned. However, they must be set to their default settings. That's no problem, but go all the scenes flutes. I have received version 3. This can be seen on the remote control. Never thought that I am even willing to spend so much money on a few lamps. But just in the winter months, the feel-good atmosphere is priceless ;-)
