Installation of H90 is relatively simple. There are a total of 2 backplates. A for AMD and one for Intel socket 1155/1156 and 1366. Although there is nothing in the instructions from the base in 1150, take on the backplate holes of 1155. It definitely fits and is also by design. In the beginning was also only slightly puzzled :)
I recommend to go short during assembly on Youtube ([...]) and to look at the video. Of course you can also use the manual.
Tricky but it is only really if you want to mount the pump and fan to chassis. If you operate 2 fans in push / pull operation, only the push fan can be preassembled. Then you have the pull fan and H90 are held close to your body and drive the screws from the outside through the fan at the H90.
I recommend here 4 hands, is easier and faster.

When Corsair H90 a 140mm fan of Corsair is already factory-fitted with max. 1500 rev / min at. Due to several test results on the internet, I decided to fan through 2x 140mm Fractal Silent Series R2 to replace.
The 2 Fractal fan mounted on the H90 and running in push / pull operation. Of H90 was mounted on the rear side of the housing.
In order to cool the housing 3x Be Quiet Silent Wings 2 140mm perform their service.

For those who also a Fractal Design Define R4 use a small piece of information:
Mounted to your H90 with hoses up the rear chassis fan no longer fits in the lid.
Mounted to your H90 with the hoses down so it can happen that depend on the tubing / or just above the GPU. I would not necessarily recommend. Better to save a case fan.

With the MSI Command Center you can adjust the cooling curves of the fan / H90 individually to his needs.
For me, the H90 rotates IDLE to 950 U / min to max 40 ° C with cooling curve to 100% from 60 ° C.

In the IDLE H90 i5 cools my to 20-25 ° C, depending on the room temperature (in the summer, the CPU is naturally warmer).

Yes, the processor was not overclocked. Nevertheless, I find the cooling capacity of the H90 very good.
