As a formerly avid user of Ixon IQ (without premium) come to me slowly serious doubts on the quality of this series. After my first Ixon IQ has given up the ghost after quite hard use, I have worried me because of the great light that it provides as a replacement a new one. This, however, has constantly made trouble and it was a permanent oscillation between loose connection, battery weakness and / or user error. Along the way, often did not press the switch to change the brightness, sometimes they suddenly went out, once they no longer went out, until the battery was empty. Often it has then charge the battery works on the back for a short time, so that sometimes I thought it was maybe just an operator error. This I have failed to claim the part within the warranty period. Now I thought, with the new Ixon IQ Premium I could again make an attempt and ordered the lamp. There was the famous fast and reliable delivery through Amazon. But the light was unfortunately completely useless. The charger plug can not be plugged in properly, because the opening by any assembly or design flaw is not completely free. In the higher performance level the light flickers, which is completely useless in traffic. In addition to this model also made the switch what he wants, the light goes off by itself once and sometimes it did not go off. The power level will change automatically from time to time.
And one more remark concerning the new Road Traffic Regulation control with battery lights: The light is indeed advertised as permitted for all bikes. You would then have but to my knowledge have a checkmark. But I have found on the lamp none. But the only way that would be for me no reason for a bad review.
I'll probably still make an attempt and get me again a Ixon IQ premium. If after my judgment be better, I'll correct this review course.
