To date, the 3w LED candle (E14 and drop) the MyAmbiance series of Philips for bulbs adornment for me looked most acceptable.
On the product illustrations in Philips itself and in the online shops you saw 2/3 vitreous and only 1/3 white base and a LED in a kind of prism at the center.
I would have found OK - but at Click-Licht.de and Philips shop itself has then sent other lamps (in the correct packaging), whose base with the smooth electronics half of the candle shape blighted.
No idea what Philips has production problems - but both deliveries looked as if the lights had been replaced by hand in the plastic covers.
The LEDs of the supposed top brand flickered not, were as bright as promised - but had a pink tinge of did not like me from the light bulbs too far away.
I had already given up, until I read the first 4 reviews here.
Have 7 pieces ordered and compared these in 3 different locations side by side with real candles 15W (clear):
-The Brightness of a 15W incandescent lamp is loosely achieved in the stairwell, I even replaced two 25W bulbs - and it does not stand out, though a bit dark.
-The Color temperature is one of the best things I have seen in LEDs so far - at best a touch cooler, depending on lamp / environment falls do not or minimally on the direct comparison.
-The Appearance / appearance is excellent. The arrangement of the LEDs 3 is similar to a filament so good that the pattern that casts a lamp to draw nearly as sharp as the wire.
I would have Osram, Philips, Samsung, LG, Toshiba the first full-fledged decorative lamps Candle spare credited - successful that is now apparently WOL.
Long-term experience I have not: I had (fluctuates Price!) Relatively inexpensive purchased.
Even if they do not last as long as 25x the light bulb, from a 2-5fachen lifetime it paid for itself several times, who wants nachwerfen the power companies money?
