The sound is on the sound plate much better than on the TV. For the price also perfectly adequate. Of course, there is no home theater system. But perfectly adequate for me. On the one hand me a home theater system was too expensive, and besides, I have not the space required for it.

Asked The Sound Plate under the TV, connected to an optical cable to the TV (would also via Bluetooth). Simply the subwoofer placed at a suitable location and connected to the outlet. Now, the setting in the LG converted TV for sound output on Optical, and that's it. The Sound Plate is automatically sent to the TV and the TV off with the out. The volume can be adjusted easily with the TV remote control, so you only need the remote control of sound Plate, if you want to change the sound mode (Standard, Cinema, Music), or want to change another setting. The display of the Sound Plate is for my taste kept quite discreetly (in my LG OPT), and bother me in any way.

At first I had been interested in a Soundbar NB 5540. I just got but then opted for the Sound Plate because this has left me for a better visual impression. The Sound Plate seeming simplicity quality.
