The socket of the lamp is a E27. It is supplied in a sturdy cardboard box. The upper part of the lamp and the sensor are made of plastic. Nowadays, the plastic seems well to replace the glass, because all my other LED lamps in the house are made of this milky plastic. The lower part, and the texts are, as usual, made of metal. In this light, I do not like to touch the lower part, because it is processed a little sharp.
This LED bulb replaced with us a standard LED bulb in a normal one spot lamp. When installing or operating the first light switch, the LED bulb flashed three times. Already they can do their job. Once you enter the room, the light comes on by itself. Leaving the room, the light switches off automatically after about 30 seconds. The lamp detects movement in an outgoing angle of 120 °. According to a statement on the package that works until a distance of 7 meters. In normal high ceilings so the presents absolutely no problem.
These are to white light. It is cold white and definitely can not be compared with warm tones.
Saving energy can be very simple. This LED lamp consumes only 5W and makes as bright as a normal 40W bulb earlier. Supposedly they should light up to 20,000 hours, which promises a long life. Should the lamp break, I will report here of course.
Conclusion: When I go in the future with a full laundry basket in the basement, I no longer need to operate the light switches. The lights go thanks to this LED lamp with built-in sensor of its own accord and out. The cold light fits perfectly with basements. I was convinced the lamp and I would order them directly again.
