But honestly.
We have now brought the torch for our e91 Bj2007 because a year ago the right burner ever flickered, then went out again and is full failed recently left the burner.
There were still the first burners, you have to keep Philips benefited installed the Xen start. Nearly eight years hence.
The burners were replaced in about 20 minutes.
Now of course it was in broad daylight, so I could not see an actual result. But as I always drive with daytime running lights, the burner could seem "retract".
When it got dark, I was very surprised at how light the new torch light.
In fact, on the illuminated target a slightly yellowish sheen was visible, on view in the spotlight it shines more white.
A slight shading on the road and I can perceive. Whether it bothers me? No, because the total light output counts and that is simply 1A.
The Philips I found more blue, which had a yellow arc, which bothered more.
Whether the Osram now pays 70% more, I can not say. In reference to my old, rather more ;-) -> felt.
A long-term test, I can here but unfortunately currently not play. It remains to be seen.
But clinging I have at this point:
It is a security risk to go with such old burners through the area.
The effect in poor light is unfortunately slowly and it is not really on.
It is simply a revelation with new xenon burners. A voluntary exchange without a defect in advance, so makes sense and enhances safety exorbitant.
I've uploaded some photos of luminosity / color of the new burner. Unfortunately, I stand not soooo cheap, but eventually it will help one or the other to assess the Osrambrenner.
About a vote, if it is so, I am happy, otherwise like a comment.
Many Thanks
