So I had "forced" to buy a projector, but this seemed difficult at first in the huge selection. Since I have experience with various brands, and Acer has not identified any bad, he came (X110) also because of the price in the short list. The reviews led me to take the risk, without having looked at the part of the store - and I was not disappointed. I put no value on HD, even on sound, integrated media player had also not be, since I already own such a part (also from Acer ;-)) Now, to the projector itself: All values can be found in the data sheet, I skip here. For me, more important: 1. does the part without complaint at the computer? yes - with any resolution (at least to 1680x1050), which is simply interpolated. However: it is best to read with the computer 1024x768 ago 2. It comes with a normal video signal (composite) clear: Yes, excellent 3. It can be used in normal lighted rooms: Yes - at presentations and PDF without limitation, in video / DVD with a few limitations, because the picture looks a little pale - but absolutely at a manageable level and by contrast, more brightness compensated 4 DVDs in the basement you can see (the fun factor called home theater): in darkened or dimly lit rooms I miss nothing, the image itself is in ECO mode clear and the colors brilliant. 5. it is easy to use: Yes - unpack, plug in and connect, activate, get going - source it automatically detects, otherwise on the FB easily switch. The menu is sparse but clearly structured - settings there are not many (but, the existing range of absolute, some television has less ...). 6. Con: What a little bothered me: the "Zoom" is not really far-reaching, actually more of a joke - the "zoom" function "in the menu on the FB does not increase the image, but only part of the image - if you want to increase the screen size, need space to behind as only about the distance larger image formats are possible, but that's not a real lack, because I have this function only with beamers beyond 1000 -.. have found Euros walk a few steps further and a längers cables are cheaper. What is also worth mentioning: ohne FB one aufgeschmissen here - the settings to get otherwise nicnt ran, the absence of other control elements.
Conclusion: For the price absolutely recommended if - yes if you want to throw no HDMI and HD or BlueRay to the canvas. Rather an all-rounder that makes uncomplainingly, for which he was built without real highlights or weaknesses, with a really good picture quality. Apropo canvas: do I configure the home on a white woodchip wallpaper and in the cellar on a white coated hardboard - that is enough. The screen in the classroom is to be a little better brilliance and edge sharpness.
