One reason was the use of the 18650 batteries, because I had it a few more are unused at home and of which I am now quite enthusiastic - if you do not necessarily buy the cheapest China-scrap.
The lamp sits definitely good at the top, even if all the weight is on the front of the forehead, as it - as in many other Headlights - are no separate battery pack on the back of the head. Benefit of this is that there is no cable that can possibly get stuck somewhere. But I can imagine that, for example, when jogging the uneven weight distribution may be disturbing to me.
The 5 light levels are nicely graded from small Funzel up searchlights. The special light modes such as flashing or SOS are somewhat "hidden", so that one hardly used to when switching through the normal lighting levels by these even "through torture" must, as a rule, they are anyway. There are also 2 red LEDs. A nice feature if you want to be on the road in stealth mode times.
For some it will be a negative point, that the lamp is not focusable and only a fixed angle of 100 °. However, do not bother me. On the contrary, I like the relatively wide illumination of the whole field of vision quite well. And the focus on long distance I've still got my flashlight.
In various flashlight forums were complaints that the change due to the design of the cover is a bit difficult, but that's purely a matter of practice. If you have done this a few times, that goes without saying. The adjustment of the tilt angle is about two tight-fitting rubber rings but easily solved effectively.
For me, a super head lamp that is quite versatile.
