My price limit was EUR 150 but then I come to a decision yet to spend a little more, because so binoculars (at least for me) is something for life and I do not want to ever buy a new me. Therefore once more and then spend a lifetime rejoiced when every time you see through to fret about buying or that it does just lying around at home.
Unfortunately, this plan worked is not 100%.
The binoculars are the material was very good, it looks high, is relatively light, is very good in the hand and the size is comfortable while hiking.
It comes with a well geposterten pocket so you can carry the binoculars safely.
The light intensity is good, the picture is to the edge sharp. Eigendlich excellent conditions.
But what bothers me are the fringing (chromatic aberration), which are clearly visible in bright objects on a darker background. What one perceives at cheap camera lenses at the edge, you can clearly see the entire field of vision. The 30-year-old binoculars my father does not have this problem, here it seems to have been in the last 30 years no progress at least for Nikon.
Continuing with the caps on the front: they are a bad joke and to excel at unimaginativeness barely. I have already lost 3 times and ultimately to me they decided to leave home before they are completely gone. Either they are already in transit from, or at the latest when pull out from his pocket.
Here you should what a company is nearly 100 years in the market, can expect a lot more.
For years I have Nikon SLRs, was always happy, thought, therefore, with a pair of binoculars from Nikon can not do much wrong, was, unfortunately a bit disappointed.
My Conclusion:
Super workmanship, mostly excellent, bright, sharp to the edge image.
In some situations, however unbearable CAs that unfortunately make up the fun back something - along with the protective caps that makes 2 star deduction, there is still a huge potential for improvement.
