I took advantage of the offer flash of December to 499 euros to buy the Galaxy Note 3. I had gone on a Galaxy Note 2, but this made me hesitate offer why not have the latest model for 90 euros Moreover?
Firstly, it is a model import Europe. Kesako?
It is a model that comes from Portugal. The manual in the box is available in English and Portuguese, and the device speaks Portuguese at first boot. But do not panic language changes within seconds.
Then we need a European SIM card for the first activation. Then you can use the SIM card you want.
The box contains a USB cable, AC adapter for charging, headphones, spare foams, spare mines and pliers to remove the stylus mine.
Regarding the device, it is the 4G LTE compatible model with a quad core processor at 2.3 Ghz. I was surprised by the fineness and weight. Nevertheless, it is not easily forgotten in a pocket. The back imitation leather is not as fake as what can be read on some sites. It is soft to the touch and the unit does not slip from the hands. It is close to a Blackberry Bold 8800. The back cover comes off easily, no need to fight for access to the SIM card, SD card or battery.
The battery takes a long time if you take the trouble to turn off Bluetooth, gesture air, NFC, GPS, if you activate the wifi where the data when you need it.
I have not really had time to play with the Galaxy Note 3, so I would complete this review later.
Noted that is guaranteed for two years by Samsung (6 months for the battery) is written on the warranty card.

UPDATE 16/12/2013
------------------------------
First results after 2 weeks
I am very satisfied with the device. It is obviously very reactive, although the overcoat Samsung. I still had two crashes. The 3 GB of RAM gives great comfort, but be careful anyway. We must ensure serve the time RAM time and leave unused applications (long press on the home button). Regular restart does not hurt either.
The camera:
A sensor 13 mpx which opens at f2.2, not bad on paper. In real life, it's not bad at all, if you are using the HDRi mode you will obtain good pictures outdoors. The device is even able to pretty blurry effects before or background. It is not worth a RX1000, but finally starting to take pictures worthy of the name with a phone.
Not tested the video recording.
GPS:
I tested a little GPS mountain bike, plain and mountain use. The trace is relatively accurate and smoothing the trail you will get an uneven curve rather just. FYI, starting a drum course was to 65% of battery power and 2:30 (in the mountains in the forest) in ViewRanger + 30 minutes with the GPS + activated yet few photos, I still had 40% battery. This without activating economy mode (but disables WiFi and data) and 5 ° ..
File Synchronization:
To synchronize files with a Mac or PC you can;
- Transfer them to a micro SD card
- Connect the Galaxy Note to PC with bluetooth
- Use AirDroid (available on Google Play)
- Use Kries: [...]
A word about the import of the address book:
If you want to import your contacts from a PC or Mac without using Google+ or any other cloud service, you can export contacts in vCard format. You then copy the file onto a micro SD card (or other, see paragraph above). Once the card in the Galaxy Note:
1- Open the Contact
2- Select "Contact" (top right)
3. Press the Menu key (to the left of the home button)
4 Select "Import / Export"
5- Finally, select "Import from SD card"
The pen:
Very practical, it is one of the arguments of the Galaxy Note. It is very pleasant to use, very accurate. The phone has a number of options on it (which I disable most), handwriting recognition works well I'm even surprised he is able to understand what I write! I wish its output is easier when wearing cycling gloves, but it is not its first use.
