Update after nearly 1.5 years of use:
- When other cats beating heavily on the door, it may happen that the closure of the bracket is lifted (previously 2 times, we have an aggressive neighbor cat). This can be resolved relatively easily, you have to hold the flap screw from the inside.
- The same hangover manages to solve the sensor in the canopy of the holder - two small screws can counteract this.
- The closing of course needs half a second (figuratively speaking, have not measured!) Until the door to go back. It is only right and proper, we want the kitten velvet tail in it have ;-). Unfortunately, it means that the (again) neighbor had made it (so far 2 times), just to come in hunt for my cats behind. Well, it's annoying, but I blame the cat, not the door, something you can not even prevent.
- Despite lots of other cats, small dogs and other creatures (we live right on the edge) no unwanted visitors (up to a hangover of course * g *)
The only real downside is the one all have cat flaps: It is not a door that goes in both directions, making it leaky and not insulated. It is still the best door, I know and I've had a few. Right now I'm waiting for the first cat door goes on sale. It is dense and insulated. And will probably cost half my salary - let's see.
