I use the belt for more than 10 years. Although it is meant for indoor use, I've always used it to label my unroofed mailbox hanging on fence. And it works wonderfully - the tape does not dissolve, no matter the weather. By weathering and sunlight, it darkens after a few months and is porous, but you have only about once a year to exchange what but a very good performance for an "indoor-tape". The silver metallic band I can for the outside the way not recommended, it is useless after a few weeks - but only at the margins.
Trailer or other problems I had with this band in conjunction with my Dymo Letra Tag 2000 never, and the protective film can be solved easily, as it is applied in 2 halves, so you have just a little bend the band, and already triggers can remove the protective film with a fingernail perfect. Inside, I would estimate the durability of the belt twice with forever. The first band I've used for almost 10 years, since I do not print a lot, and it has to last cm working properly and glued.
