Functional features the 1208 through the Nokia-typical, almost as awesome to be designated menu that allows even without instructions, quickly settle into the operation of the mobile phone. For the lack of high technology such as digital camera and MP3 player with other meaningful extras compensated the 1208 as the carrying of multiple phonebooks (if the cell phone of more than one person is used), a precise cost control (in-call timer, call limit, fixed dialing, balance inquiry), and an integrated LED flashlight which can make useful services in the dark quite. Here, the almost usual features such as calendar, calculator and games already on the field again.
At least as great praise deserves the battery, which holds out in standby ages. From the voice quality I was pleasantly surprised, the sound is clearly over and the view of the volume reaches the medium setting far.
Something must be faulted the charger, which leaves a rather cheap impression. It also sits somewhat imprecise on the phone and the cable itself tends from the beginning to be as it were twisting "each other" to "clutter". But that is the only limitation.
Conclusion: A really good phone.
