Another review mosert over the pink tint.
Yes, somehow the reviewer is right, in certain lights affects the lamp pink, lilac or orange in others.
The Why I can not answer, but quite ordinary "orange" or warm white color, as hoped in my hallway light.
Since it was my first E27 LED bulb, was the course anywhere items, screwed, to see the effect in the room.
Conclusion: In most lighting is 330lm simply too little, even if purely revolves 4 or 5 of these bulbs (Just 2 existing lamps unscrew similar). The downgrade by energy saving light bulbs 11Watt = 600lm = 50W bulb, instead formerly 60Watt had to get over that time, but even less should it not be in the normal case. As Sch (l) ummerlicht watching TV so makes a 4Watt bulbs again sense. In the bedroom or as rich three 4Watt lamps certainly, but at 10min light on the day the old 60Watt bulb is even more economical. When it blows, and (halo) are hard to come by incandescent inexpensive, I would imagine LED, the choice will depend primarily on the price development of the bulbs.
The application "hallway light in the stairwell" succeeded. Come in, switch on -> light there. That went a 11Watt ESL good enough, but not as economical. The had on power also 200-300lm and was then slowly brighter. The max. 600lm strength was not really needed. For convenience, the light usually remain after switching over hours (mean ~ 3h. / Day).
Cost-effectiveness:
Breakeven in 3 years is a new technology yet, the announced 30ct / kWh in 2013, to help with the same :(
Who would now only replace its normal 40-60 watt bulb, would be at my purchase price after just one year in profits, then sit but also in the semi-darkness.
Especially when Flurlicht a proximity switch sounds very economical, does not it? However, by his constant consumption of about 1 watt, it increases the electricity bill a little more than he can save at 4-11Watt lamps in my way of manual operation. It's "only" amounts to
Advantages and disadvantages of saving light bulbs:
The ESL flashlights are not pretty and considerably longer than an ordinary light bulb, but keep as promised a few years and are currently really cheap. In pear shape ESL was mostly just as quickly broken (2-3 years) as the incandescent lamps, they delayed start (1-3 seconds), take 2-3 minutes to reach full brightness, are larger than the original and usually cost even> 5 Euro. Some went back immediately, because they generated noise. Technically smell is nothing noticed.
The Philips LED 4 Watt is even smaller than the classic light bulb, on just a quick, light up reasonably well in all directions, not whistles, does not smell, is well made, ..., everything as it should be. Also 4 watt lamps to warm over time. I hope this generation lamps no longer dies from an early heat death.
The 330lm and the usual retail price are still limiting the mass use.
Purpose: hall, cabinet lighting, bedside lamp, house number lighting, ie where the light is turned on quickly or to shine it long.
Wishes for the near future:
+ 4Watt with 500lm (slightly better than the old "40 Watt") under 10Euro
+ Higher color temperature (3000K about as halogen lighting, possibly 3500K) for workrooms
+ No color cast in the shade
+ Warranty> = 5 years
