For me it was the first contact with the topic LED. There should be 3 lights above the headboard. I have chosen:
- Lighting: Ledon LED lamp MR16 halogen reflector 7W 28,000,178 to 11.20 / pcs. (Warm white, 7 watts, 35 ° and relative dimmer friendly. These lamps have a very good reputation, especially also in terms of the color of light.)
- Version: High Voltage GU10 socket for LED and halogen - base ceramic to max. 100Watt Resilient, 10 pieces - 0.75 / pcs. (Contrary to the product description is the cable length in my delivery unfortunately only 10cm - critically - the strands were however already pressed very well with ferrules Since I want to connect the flexible cable with fixed cable, I'll rely on WAGO terminals 224-112..)
- Mounting frame: 7,90 / pcs. These are of course the order in which my review is actually here. Ordered on 18/09, supplied by consignment in the mailbox on 23/09. The packaging is just one envelope, but the frames are individually packed in a bag with bubble wrap protected. All 3 frame are impeccable, only one of the screw rings, of (for ceiling installation) secures the lamp falling out, has a small Macke ("bite"), but I will not see 2 feet away - so what ?!
The frames make a good visual impression. Deviating from the impression of the picture, the threaded ring proves brushed. I think that's a good thing. The hole saw for installation must have 73mm. 68mm would be enough for the frame, but then you would probably not be able to push the frame over the springs and 2 small rivets the swivel mechanism would also get in the way. Well, Amazon may be again pleased my next order.
The Ledon lamps (56mm high, 50mm diameter) turn out to fit as easily. What is the installation depth? Each measures the a little different. I measure from the inside of the frame (= external support on z. B. plasterboard wall or wooden paneling) to the upper edge of the inserted lamp socket, incl. The cable, for straight shaft of the lamp. Here one needs 59mm mounting depth. Less would be purely technical m. M. n. Not possible. And the 59mm I would not want to try. To grasp the lamp can still swing, you should hit about 2mm. One must however be aware that this minimum level a) bad for the cable, as amended (break chafing) and b) may possibly be seen heat-technically a little problem. I would think, would be here with regard to 70mm cable already helpful and the more there is, the better. As for the heat, I've been told that u. U. temperatures of about 60-80 ° C at such a lamp can occur. Ie can burn. Because nothing. But the devil is known to be a squirrel and plenty of storage heat so a lamp never feels good, you also have to say here: The more space, the better. Personally, I would probably 70mm deem practicable minimum level (at a lamp height of 56mm), in which I would no longer worry. For me it will be 84mm, there is no problem at all.
Overall I am very satisfied with the framework and would encourage anyone to purchase. Advantageous I would consider when choosing between package and consignment had during shipping.
