Configuration FritzBox:
- Under "WLAN radio network >>" I have two wireless networks (SSID) set in part so that the bridge can take the correct power in "Home3ghz" and "Home5ghz".
- Under "WLAN radio channel >>" I "optimize WLAN for IPTV applications" option is selected.
Configuration WET610N:
- That you need to configure the software (such as is on the sticker of the power supply connection) is nonsense.
- I have the device connected via a LAN cable to the Fritz box and on the Fritz box under "home network >> Network" the IP of the Bridge found. This works because the unit searches an IP address via DHCP. The device is called WET610N.
- Then browse to the IP address and read with
User: Anonymous
Password: admin
log in
- Here you can now diverse settings such as a static IP address (what was stated in some reviews as missing). I tested it but not because it does not matter for me.
- Now you can be connected to the 5GHz network see "Basic Wireless >> Wireless Settings". Simply enter the SSID and the passphrase (in my case, "Home5ghz").
- See "WIRELESS >> WMM" now needs to be set to "Video" nor the access mode.
- That's it! Disconnect the bridge from the LAN and plugging in the Media Receiver.
