The adapter does the job quite well, after a few difficulties, I am very satisfied mitlerweile.
But that you may know what your einlasst you, here are a few hints and experiences.
- The installation was not as easy as I had imagined it. On the one hand there is the power connector on the radio no plug, here I recommend so-called "electro taps" to tap into the cable from the radio. Is very easy without tools (may be clear for experienced hobbyists anyway, for me as a layman, this information was important)
- It is also important to the antenna connector. At Amazon, I have found only the adapter described here (ISO), but my radio has a FAKRA connector. So I had another ISO-> FAKRA FAKRA and> ISO adapter to buy. It is supposed to give this adapter from other dealers and directly with FAKRA
The rest was fairly simple: to expand radio, 12V and looking ground line terminals cable in between, reposition the antenna cable and store everything behind Radio. The set frequency was immediately found by the radio.
The audio quality is pretty good, comes close to CD quality. At least in the non-installed state. When I pushed the radio back, I scratch at the radio stations and a whistle on the frequency of this adapter.
So the whole again out, quality was fine again. So it seems that either the cable, the device, or my ISOFAKRA connector system is poorly shielded from extraneous signals.
A bit of trial and error was necessary to find a suitable position. The result was that the antenna adapter is now taped next to the antenna input of the radio, since there seems to be no or only little interference. Now I have a pretty good sound experience even after installation.
If the quality is therefore incorrect, it is worthwhile to position the device other.
Finally, I can play on my phone and the hands-free via Bluetooth music.
Since the result of exactly what I expected, the installation but so has its pitfalls, I give the adapter 4 stars.
