This device is probably for the UK market. The plug is provided with UK design and make it fit into a German outlet with an additional adapter. The plugs are so great that in a multiple socket outlet which in addition to this plug can not be used. The power cord to the adapter is far too great.
The second instruction is completely in English. While you can find an instruction manual in German on the Internet, but the print 104 pages for itself.
