After many years of exclusively positive experiences with AVM FRITZ! Card I have now discovered a new variant. Previously, the decision was in the office-PCs always in favor of the internal FRITZ! Card fallen. This eliminated unnecessary clutter and configuration seemed done relatively quickly. Over the years, however, has shown that office computer have a fairly short life yet and the necessary removal and installation of the plug-in card turned out to be something Complicated for new installations. After the recent refurbishment of a PC workstation with operating system Vista Business I decided now quasi times on probation for an external solution (AVM FRITZ! Card USB V2.1 external ISDN modem for the USB port). The result: I buy never again internal cards. The advantages of the external solution are simply unbeatable. USB plug in, install software, ready. If again a computer change pending, then takes the transition no more and the cumbersome Removing and installing completely eliminated minute. The best for last: clutter also omitted because the little cute box no additional power supply needed (all links completely via USB). Just great!
