I've been looking for a student for an inexpensive, yet powerful laptop that will suit my demands. This is mainly to office stories, internet searches, telephony (Skype - good quality), streaming and of course a little dragons. To save a little money on the one hand and to go to other Windows 8 out of the way, I have decided for the Linux version and installed right after the first turn on Windows 7 - Caution! This should only be done if you have a little idea of what you are doing! A few incorrect entries in the BIOS can have severe consequences. But there are also plenty of guides on the Internet in which consistent adherence to experienced any nasty surprises :)
Booting from Windows 7 was very easy on DVD - only the boot order had to be changed in the BIOS.
But now to the actual review on the laptop:
I have almost a quarter of a year now waiting with the review, to first detect possible errors and to test the laptop accordingly. After this time, I can only say: just buy it for all the - like me - do not belong to the high-end gamers and the PC primarily for watching movies or use for the university / work. The 8 GB RAM make absolutely noticeable in combination with the brisk processor. Everything is super smooth, no unnecessary hanger or crashes. The only drawback I've noticed: The sound or the laptop speakers. The sound itself is not bad, but only a very small volume is possible .. I have the laptop therefore mostly connected to external speakers.
