I use the battery handle primarily due to the pleasant portrait handling. Secondary is with me, the use of replacement batteries, since I anyway before each job charging all batteries and a battery change during operation is possible. Nevertheless, the use of 2 batteries is of course very pleasant. With the power of the batteries I am also satisfied, but you already noticed the difference from 1500mAh to 1800mAh in stock.
The processing of the battery grip I feel as clean, the rubber of the handle feels comfortable and you can hold the camera even with heavy lens well and securely in your hand. Only the thumb wheel and the trigger feel a bit strange - the wheel cracks somehow "hollow" and the trigger feels somewhat imprecise to (but work perfectly).
I think these kinks out but you can cope for the price difference to the original.
