Functionally 1A - Sound to settling outstanding

I hear both music and make calls with my iPhone would headset, I bought the Etymotic hf2. I also own the Denon AH-C 551 in-ear headphones, which is why I now these two models can very well compare. Before this, I have that obsessed with Sony, but they are now broken and I can no longer drag zoom to compare.

Of the Denon AH-C 551 I'm spoiled with well-defined and tight bass, the handling has always been very simple. This has proven to be changed quickly with the Etymotic hf2.

Sound.
- Much more detailed, deeper and more clearly defined. If an in-ear headphones rankommt in combination with a non-audiophile device like the iPhone 3GS at an audiophile sound reproduction, the Etymotic hf2.
- The bass sound is promoted in my view of the Etymotic hf2 very little. This initially somewhat frustrates me because I was spoiled by a significant bass boost and depth of the Denon AH-C 551. Once you get used to it, however, is this, if you are not a bass fanatic, very very pleasant.
Ultimately, it requires far less volume at the terminal, if one has adjusted the correct matching adapter, since the headphones a) penetrate very deeply into the ear canal and b) also perfectly seal and thus isolate the ambient noise. (Caution: the Etymotic hf2 are no so-called "Noice canceling" headphones in the strict sense, since this would affect with corresponding electronics..)

Comfort.
- Rest and take time. Not like me while walking to try these things fit to make.
- In-Ear vs. In-Channel: The Etymotic hf2 go very deep into the ear canal as compared for example to the Denon AH-C 551. This was getting used to for me at the beginning, since otherwise only earplugs so sit deep - headphones I knew not that far. The Etymotic are thus in my view, rather than in-channel in-ear.
- Please be sure to try out all the supplied adapter, even if you think "..ach that fit quite well". That really needs to be done in order to choose the optimal adapter. In my view, also plays a role, whether the material / rubber is cold or warm. For me it has in any case a lot causes the rubber beforehand in hand to warm.
- The headset if used cautiously quiet easily move to all sides and minimal back and forth on changing sound you recognize if you really sit perfectly.

Headset functionality.
- Everything works as described and properly.
- Only the volume control is missing me, which would have Etymotic hf2 the like may still give to.

Quality.
- The Etymotic hf2 make a valued and noble restrained impression. But since I do not just with the general processing but the durability and lifespan of individual components quality, I'm waiting here with a final judgment.

Conclusion.
- Want to combine buy recommendation for anyone who crystal clear sound with headset functionality perfectly.
