After Lu ALL comments I decided to offer the pro babyliss to my 13 year old daughter for her birthday. There were several choices babyliss I told myself that by choosing this one, the pro, and I will be more expensive still. Cardboard happens, we unpack and live without even reading the manual is used. Easy, fast, lightweight, made of beautiful curls. My daughter and I are left handed ... and that we did not think to read reviews of it ... and there was not much !!!! .... and not worry lefties the device is very convenient for us too, downright easy. There are true for my daughter who at the very very long and heavy hair curls are not British, but "curly," wavy + and beautiful. I tried on me who has long hair and fine it was closed. So I recommend it. Take care to watch it are 3 heat powers, when "beep beep" stops you have to remove the bit, I recommend to read the instructions for the best use of the device. Take fine strands for optimum effect. Although detangle hair to avoid tangling in the unit, but all this seems logical. I recommend this object :-) keep still packing a few days in case there would be a concern you never know.
