A comparison with the existing Olympus 45mm f1.8 on a PM2 and GF1 I could do it myself.
The Bokeh of Olympus lens is, possibly. also because of the greater potential panel, a touch of fine. In the 100% view on PC compared side by side, dissolving in the background highlights are rounder and quiet. For the Sigma shows fewer CAs in hard contrast edges. A comparison photo I have set.
In terms of sharpness, there is in my view both lenses are no significant differences. On photo zone and ephotozine be first convincing test data to find.
Optical meets the appearance of the new Sigma series is not my taste.
The lens is quite massive and looks a bit uncouth. On the other hand you have to have good hold on what a petite camera as the PM2 in his hand and a secure grip without to the camera body.
The front lens cap looks very cheap and edgy, but has the advantage that it is easy to handle even with the hood attached.
Whether 15 mm longer focal length, but a maximum aperture 2.8er sense everyone has to decide according to the purpose itself. For different angle I have also set an image. Most likely I will not give the existing 45er Olympus. But if I were to stand at a fundamental new acquisition before the election, the Sigma likely would by my favorite. The value for money is unbeatable in my opinion.
