I use several Saitek products.
In the beginning, the Trim Wheel did not work. I asked directly to the Mad Catz and also consult the manufacturer for help - and got no answer.
I complained at Amazon and asked to return the device.
Suddenly I received a customer service feedback from Mad Catz (manufacturer until today heard anything).
The admissions were true and I was able to solve my problem.
So, in the end everything went well. I'm not the first time the experience that in this area (FSX and associated products) be somewhat stubborn MUST be able to be helped - but almost always I am (STICK TO) satisfied.
Conclusion: Here and elsewhere in FSX, if there is a problem, it is essential to be able to apply a lot of patience and you need to be very persistent.
