Both with and without power connection is flawless data transmission on the 2.5 "Seagate hard drive, the current demand is respect probably something critical I have tested with file transfers in the field of 10GB and more in detail, which always are otherwise extremely critical -. The data transfer is absolutely stable ,
How much of the current connection brings, I can not say, because the cable works perfectly well without it. But it is now definitely on the safe side in case of power hungry USB 3.0 peripherals.
The cable I would have to buy it now, but Adversity is smart .... I am very satisfied and would recommend 100% ... if it holds out a long time, it is for this price a very favorable purchase the cable.
