One should evaluate this product than what it is: an improvement in the TV sound. Compare By no means a 5.1System, or take such a purchase, since one is in fact quickly disappointed. I know what I'm talking about, I have the same room and a (older) 5.1 system from Bose. :) But the 5.1 system repeatedly reset to source me was too much trouble, and also partly you get also a totally distorted sound when mono or stereo movies are played back on 5 + 1 loudspeakers. The BOSE Solo 15 but I am totally satisfied while watching TV. It is first time totally unspectacular; I am not surprised that some are disappointed. If just talking, it's like a normal television sound. But if something happens .... or the sounds in the background that are otherwise not at all heard ... we thought our TV had actually quite a good sound, but if we now turn back, we need to keep our ears. :) This tone is a madness force that calls super to hear in a disco scene or adjacent explosions, and you're gonna get from time to time quite surprising sounds very clear and lifelike with. (For example vorbefahrendes car outside the window.) Music channel sound also very good and especially strong, look now often MTV Live HD and VH-1 again. As for the space: I would say, to me it sounds as if the sound in surround scenes would cover as 2 meters to the side and about 2 meters upwards. The remote control we find great, we can do: TV, UPC cable box with PVR and On Demand video library, satellite receiver and DVD player - the TV turns on with the Bose together a. We need the original remote controls only very rarely.
