finally a quieter DVD Player

great:
+ Very quiet, almost inaudible in DVD playback, drive noise (here you have to listen very carefully and be next to the device).
+ Excellent sound: Bitstream mode, here the raw data are forwarded to the surround amplifier.
+ Full HD upscaling works very well (via remote control: Press 2x "Resolution" and set the screen resolution).
+ Handy little remote control with only one AA battery.
+ USB port, will play everything.

something negative:
- Crackling when selecting a song to an audio CD (even when MP3's on USB Stick), here comes no pleasure in!
- Tiny LCD screen that should not be present actually, because you can not even read it because of the smallness.
- LG typical lean settings in the menus.

If you only see DVD's very highly recommended 5 *
