Positives:
- It is easy to visualize and change the intensity of the flashes,
- The instructions are well explained (and read!)
- No pain and no redness (I've done the test before the first actual use, where I could test my tolerance threshold and I use that intensity which at worst I feel slight discomfort) ,
- Easy to use: you plug into an outlet, is started by pressing the button behind the camera, it adjusts the intensity (1 to 6), the gun is applied to the skin, making sure that it is completely in contact with (if not the flash is not activated), and it remains only to press the button on the front,
- The sequence of flashes possible by holding down the button that fires the flash, practice, although three seconds is a long time when the control device
- The flash will fire only when the device is in contact with the skin: practice even if it is inconvenient for the parties more "bone" (knees, feet, ankles). Well I found a solution, even if it is not practical to do: I put my fingers on each side of the frame and it flashes!
Negatives / improvement:
- The device is not wireless, which hampers freedom of movement when in use,
- Ventilation, necessary but too noisy,
- The absence of mark: sometimes after the flash remains part and lets see where it landed the aircraft, but often this is not the case, so there is a good chance that I missed areas and made several other ...
- Residual flashes: even if the flash is triggered only when the gun is in contact with the skin, the residual flash remains powerful enough ... I had an ophthalmic migraine at the end of the first use and a good headache in the two following uses ... possible that this is a coincidence for the first use and due to the ventilation during the following saw that I was protecting me eyes (eyes closed goggles) but I remain very cautious and I would not venture to operate the equipment on the face. After up to you,
- 26 minutes are upbeat ... and yet I'm "only" the legs, bikini line and underarms. And that's not counting shaving before using the device. In total it takes me 1 hour to 1:30.
In addition: it seems that putting the nozzle in contact with the skin it automatically chooses the intensity to use ... I may be missing something but I have seen anything like this happen. So it's up to me to choose the intensity to use. But I do not see anyway not too much since interest must make a first test session starting with the lowest intensity in all areas that we want to deal ...
The results:
After the first treatment on my lower legs (intensity 6), the hairs have 4-5 days to grow back after shaving whereas usually I have to every day ...
Nothing else to watch for other areas, even for underarms that I also happen to be processed 6 (intensity between 3 and 5 for the rest). I will publish when I had more perspective.
CONCLUSION:
For the moment I can not have a clear opinion on this product. My fears (risks to the eyes and the skin over the long term given the lack of experience on the use of these devices), the results are not yet really there (even if this is normal at this stage) , small details to improve and the price (and yes it's still a sacred investment nonetheless) are elements that make me indecisive.
So it's up to you, because although I do not recommend it, I'm not sure to advise either ...
