In the previous volume, we left Christian and Ana happy and ready to get married and prolonged love to two. The history of this Volume 3 connects directly with a wedding (glitzy but fast) and two lovebirds on honeymoon. Spending debauchery, but at the same time it's not as if they were in need, this honeymoon frankly left me puzzled. It's long to read, fastifieux and behavior of Ana, or even Christian, is rather childish kind. As said Cess, Ana will act like a child "is not it" and bam, what does it do in the second? So ok, Christian speeches are childish, but it does nothing to fix it.
But this series is all about romance, and romance this is not just about sex, it also needs a plot, even tiny. So it's easier when the characters meet in the novel, for a third novel that becomes a little cotton, especially the marriage done! So we take the "outstanding" in the previous volume and is growing. But the author uses it as an excuse so that it shows. Besides these are some scenes that appear when Ana / Christian relationship has stalled.
This "plot" does not deserve the name, and its end is ridiculous frankly is "WTF". I can not believe, it is not credible and so inconsistent with the rest that I laugh. Too bad, it was a scene that would charge voltage. You will therefore understand, the plot is even worse than before (but I welcome the effort of the author not to remain complacent).
So what is left? Well the famous relationship between Ana, who is no longer prudish and has only one desire "getting caught suddenly by her man" (in quotes because I did not publish this kind of sentence one day), and Christian fluctuating between control freak and disgusting marshmallow. If the young woman rose from the prude brainless who knows virtually nothing about anything slightly gain autonomy and savvy (but not too much), Christian it is more often than not a child seeking affection. It becomes sickening sentimentality of Ana and it bothers me more than it makes me melt. The author wants to make it a dominant, frankly control freak, but does not take it. So we alternate between macho and dominant reaction to the limit "you are my possession you do what I say," and need affection so strong that he loses all its means. The changes are too abrupt, it unsettles me as a reader and I feel nothing of what the author wants to Christian.
I try to see the characters in hindsight, different angles, but I do not understand their reactions. Despite everything that tries to do all the rehearsals, I can not identify with Ana, I can not melt for Christian or drool with envy by reading the sex scenes. On the contrary, it is scenes make me raise my eyes to heaven and distressing ... I doubt whether the purpose of an erotic romance, but good.
But I would like to raise the point that revolted me. So I thought loop "WTF ???". Attention spoiler /! \ When Ana announces her pregnancy to Christian, the reaction of it is so absurd that I immediately deflected (and yet make no mistake we can not tax me too feminist).
But do not worry eh, with his talent for the absurd, the author will succeed in dealing with any situation easily for both parties ... I do not believe it. Once again, the reactions of the two protagonists are completely absurd and illogical. Everything is fast and more, so there's really nothing normal about this. /! \ / Spoiler
Well, I can understand why people love this series, blue flowers will be filled with just enough thrill to meet, but for me it was long, long, boring, repetitive ... well, not for me!
