Previously, I had also a Canon printer: the old Canon IP4000. This is the best so far printer I've ever had. Super print quality across any kind of paper, cartridges, which could replenish itself, reliably and quickly. In contrast, the iP4950 is a cucumber. It takes forever until it starts printing, it is annoying by constantly cleaning the print head - which incidentally also neatly wasted ink - and he is unreliable. If you want to print only a single page, it prints them fine, but alas, you want a document to print tens of copies, then the trouble starts: After a short time he feeds multiple sheets at the same time, after which you have to clear a paper jam. The iP4950 inkjet printer is also the first I know of on the back has a lid, so you can remove the paper there, which has been caught in the printing unit. The developers of this product know exactly why they have this flap provided: You need it all the time ... With the old IP4000 such a flap was neither intended nor I could have ever needed. The realization: Some products do not ripen with time, but it saves broken by greedy merchants. Too bad ...
