The lamp does exactly what it should. They can be set via touch in three brightness levels off (dark-medium-light-off), there is no separate switch required. The light in my opinion is very pleasant, it lights up yellow-reddish. I have the lamp in the living room are and use them while watching TV, here the light is very unobtrusive and not annoying. Strong buy recommendation on my part.
