The device, the wireless router lasted barely ten minutes. The supplied installation program (f. Windows) executes a single through the steps, you ultimately have to make only two specifications, namely the SSID and the WPA2 key. Actually, you can even these two values left at the default settings, which is not advisable. The software is not installed on the PC by the way, but is simply running from the CD. The signal (strength and link quality) is everywhere in the house more than 90%. Even in the neighbor's house (detached), the signal still has a thickness of about 80%. The compounds are absolutely stable. I want to clarify something, although it should be already clear. The WDR3600 is a pure wireless router without DSL modem, which is quite common.
