The new E5331 model is very successful. The web interface accessible from your browser at "192.168.1.1" is more simple to use than before. Note that there is NOTHING to install on your PC, simply connect to the wireless router or, what is new with the USB cable provided with the router. All the settings, if needed, is done via web browser (Explorer, Firefox, Safari ...).
The router sold here is open to all SIM cards, which is not the case of the model "branded" marketed under the name "Domino" by Orange.
Not being preconfigured by Orange (or whatever), you have to configure it yourself, which takes a minute. We must create a PROFILE for the SIM card used.
This profile includes three parameters: the access point (APN) and optionally a user name and password parameters are fixed and depend on the operator (SFR, Orange, Bouygues, ...).
Some operators use APN, user and password left blank.
For Orange, use: APN = orange.fr, User = orange, orange password = password.
The web interface allows to simply modify all WiFi link parameters: SSID, WPA key. You can also choose between automatic or manual connection. The menu also provides up-to-date firmware, we can expect to enjoy the improvements and corrections, if necessary.
Conclusion: Excellent router to connect up to 8 devices (laptop, iPad, smartphone ...), ideal when traveling, also family. But it takes a minimum of skill to switch it on, it is not always enough to place the SIM card inside, you must also manually create the profile through the web interface.
