Negatives:
While the Quick Start Linux boots within 8 seconds, but until you can surf it takes another 30 more!
The quick-start Linux does not support the resolution of the display.
The (blue) numeric keypad on the keyboard can not be activated using the Fn button (but only with the key combination Fn + NumLk). That's too bad.
The boot time to XP is sometimes very long (2 min.). This is partly due. to all applications for power management, touch-pad control, audio settings, and not least of AntiVir and firewall. However, I let the netbook also happy times in standby, if I disclose no need for a few hours, so not so bad.
There is no disk. Drivers there only online (and the navigation of this site is correct awkward).
The weight is 1250g with battery, not 1.1 kg as indicated! 150g are, after all, a cell phone ... And you can feel the weight already (with one hand is not eternal and we thought about every day, whether you really need it and want to take).
(No UMTS, no Bluetooth - but it is also not in the product description and would only make the netbook again expensive)
Positives:
With Scrybe commands and multi-touch gestures, the operation is much more pleasant.
Battery life is good. (About 7 hours at normal load).
On the product pictures it looks as if the keyboard would be significantly tilted forward. Fortunately, this is only minimal.
Otherwise everything was as described.
Other:
Initially, the multi-touch gestures are not working. Ultimately lags at the Comodo Firewall which I had installed the first thing.
Subjective:
10 inches is optimal. What's bigger and more difficult do not want to lug it and which is smaller has a nasty keyboard. On the keyboard you can even write relatively quickly. Sure, it is slightly smaller than normal but you soon get used to it. Unpleasant wirds only if you like to use a NumBlock and this can only with a key combination de / activate.
The performance is of course weak compared to other netbooks, notebooks and PCs due to the Atom processor and integrated graphics - but it does not take much more so on netbooks that there are mainly to fast times on the Internet look up what that calculate or to pass the time on any long journey.
That no driver CD is doing, but is not so bad. Before the netbook would be 50 more expensive, I'd rather lose designer packaging and non-essential accessories.
Battery lasts a long time, the netbook was not too expensive (so you can take it anywhere carefree), it is relatively small and easy to use without a mouse is quite possible design I like XP is not as restricted as WIN 7 Starter, and although I just use it as a PC replacement gives me the power of yet.
-> Good choice if you need a netbook.
