Have a USB stick evaluated 16GB for comparison test directly on your PC and on the HUB with CrystalDiskMark 3.0.2 64x, while still hung another stick, a USB audio controller, about which I have reproduced music and a Samsung Galaxy S2 for charging with off ,
On PC:
Sequential Read: 87 813 MB / s
Sequential Write: 11,738 MB / s
Random Read 512KB: 82 538 MB / s
512KB Random Write: 2,048 MB / s
4KB Random Read (QD = 1): 8,293 MB / s [2024.6 IOPS]
Random Write 4KB (QD = 1): 0.064 MB / s [15.6 IOPS]
4KB Random Read (QD = 32): 6,760 MB / s [1650.4 IOPS]
Random Write 4KB (QD = 32): 0.031 MB / s [7.6 IOPS]
About HUB:
Sequential Read: 87 931 MB / s
Sequential Write: 11,681 MB / s
Random Read 512KB: 81 231 MB / s
512KB Random Write: 1,701 MB / s
4KB Random Read (QD = 1): 8,118 MB / s [1981.8 IOPS]
Random Write 4KB (QD = 1): 0.060 MB / s [14.6 IOPS]
4KB Random Read (QD = 32): 6,705 MB / s [1637.1 IOPS]
Random Write 4KB (QD = 32): 0.031 MB / s [7.7 IOPS]
So am thrilled little difference.
More I add, if I may say more about long-term exposure.
But only once recommended.
