I use for years by SE smartphones (P800, P900, P990i, P1i, X1) and has so far been largely satisfied (except perhaps the P900er series). The X1 I have now used almost 2 years, and for me it was an incredibly robust, versatile tools, but this is getting on in years, and especially in terms of speed is no longer appropriate. I therefore looked around for a new, and then decided on the X2 as a separate keyboard for me has always been essential. I had the phone for about 2 weeks, then stopped for me not understandable the display (I had it in my pocket and I'm sure nowhere arrived too violently) - maybe that was just a sign. In the two weeks that was positive X2 that there was hardly any change from X1, unfortunately, in almost all respects, because the rate was only marginally better. Applications (primarily third-party applications, such as My Calendar) Start slow. Very good is the keyboard, here certainly a step forward from the X1. The touch display is quite accurate, but it takes a much higher pressure than the X1, a point at which you have to get used to secure. The appearance is better than the X1 - which, although I do not largely matter, because I need the thing to work.
As the successor to now 2 weeks I've bought a HTC HD2 without its own keyboard because a friend was happy with it. I must admit I'm impressed - especially with regard to the speed and configurability. It significantly more applications are developed for maintenance. With the touch keyboard I'm sure though slower than with the real ones, but also because you get used to.
After these experiences, I can say that I will now probably remain rather at HTC.
