Who knows these films from the 50s, which will have its great fun with the film. The best I found the scene in the movie where to watch all 'The Blob' and then really turns up the most funny but very appropriate monster from Alien Trespass and then first a young woman who thinks that would be her friend, touched on the shoulder and this the tentacles of the monster, as a supposed 'Grabscherei' her boyfriend beats her shoulder. Then the monster tried the same thing with her boyfriend, who thinks it would be her arm and the tentacles then pressed in. Wow, I laughed myself half limp.
When the film than to see what he is supposed to be, a tribute and a citation of the 50s SF movies looks, then this film is great. This ranges from 'The Day when the Earth Stood Still' (Klatuu) on 'The Blob' over 'Saucers', etc.
You have to know the typical camera settings and the play of the actors of the time, then this movie is really great.
Who is a contemporary film expected to be upset, as this film works and presents itself.
Excellent idea as to do something, and implement. Great job of director RW Goodwin and the screenplay and story writer Steven P. Fisher and James Swift.
Not to mention the actors like Erin McCormack, Jenni Baird, Dan Lauria, Robert Patrick, Jody Thompson and others, who know how to implement this adequately in the body language of the actors of the 50s.
Highly recommended for all who know the films from the 50s and love.
