Perfect AV Receiver

I had to look for a new 1604 Receiver Receiver me after 11 years with a Denon.
Never imagined the competitors in the price range from 300 to 400 watched. Pioneer 923, Onkyo, Marantz and Yamaha.
My choice was the Yamaha. I think the differences are not large. That is more so a sense decision when you do not want all the test at home. I paid here at Amazon 349.
I have always been unsettled negative descriptions of the Yamaha. Ultimately, I have to say that the negative recessions thus come about because one does not properly read the operating instructions and the system most times just want to set in 5 minutes and put it into operation. This works with a device that does not offer much. Take your time and one after another. Not all at once.

Calibration:
Without any problems. Micro at the normal listening position at ear height erected if you sit on the sofa.
You have to be absolutely silent and stand in a corner. (See instructions)

Internet Radio:
One should connect the receiver via a LAN cable to the wireless router.

WLAN and Bluetooth:
One need not actually adapters for WLAN or Bluetooth.

If the notebook has a Media Server, the shared folders can be selected and played via the app. Do not use the Microsoft Media Server. He was always bad.

DLNA:
see Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. Works great.
Photos and Videos does not work well over DLNA.

App:
Everything you need. Easy to use.
Internet radio with all the favorites you have stored. (On the website)
Music that is played on the smartphone. Play music via DLNA from the notebook.
Set boxes, volume, select input source. I've seen the Pioneer App. A bit more colorful and
it does not move more but much better. I can use the app to do everything you need.
It work smoothly and everything is easy to use. (I'm 51 this year)

Sound:
The sound is better than my old Denon 1604. The interaction with speakers and subwoofer works much better. Movies are awesome. At high volume crystal-clear sound. All I can say about it. Is anyway a matter of taste.

Menu on the TV:
Very easy and simple structure.
Since I do not need colorful pictures or what high fashion.
Very easy to use.

Remote Control:
That's confusing. You need but only the beginning. After controlling the whole on an app.
I got me a very favorable All bought in one remote control and "programmed" all important functions.

You can buy the Yamaha. For 349 one makes no mistake.
Good quality, good workmanship, good sound.
For me it was ultimately a gut decision.
Whether you were right I might look for another few years.
Today I am absolutely happy with the device. :-)
