I bought to external USB hard drives on the network to make these USB Lan_Server available.
Before I bought the article, I had checked with Logilink whether the disks must be formatted as FAT32 or only as NTFS.
Then came an automated response with the operating instructions, because everything would be in it.
Who will download the instructions on the home page of Logilink immediately sees that there is nothing about the technical details in it!
So I immediately sent an email in which I asked for answering my question.
Kam but unfortunately still no answer back! So I have got the server times ordered at random.
Now I've already 4 different. USB disk (Fantec, Logilink, Raidsonic and Tronje) tried but it's not all.
This software for joining me is really a mystery. The saying "Connection failed" and suggests 4 possible sources of error. But if you then click OK stands "Connected" ?!
While I see the plates in my "Safely Remove Hardware" but I can not use this! Since the manual is no help and the support has occurred more than 1 times incompetent, I will send the part and me have no choice but set an expensive quality solution.
It should be noted that on the driver / software CD Both Win7 32bit and 64bit, Windows Vista and XP drivers / software are available! After a restart, the error message disappears "USB Server ...". Be restarted even under Win7 MUST = bad programming.

Positives: processing I find really good (metal casing looks quite high).
Otherwise only the negative points from the text. Possibly others have better luck. But because I would not expect too much!
