I do not want to write too much around it and spoilers, because much has already been said. I find this part, as well as the first of the series, terrific. The fate of the protagonist moves me very, explicit depictions of violence in the sexual are very disturbing and I still wonder how the comic has been able to be sold in Germany due to the high hurdles of media supervisory authorities. A comparison with 'The Walking Dead' (TWD) - series, of which I'm a big fan, has neither content nor creatively to: because everyone 'Crossed' band ends without Cliffhanger, the drawings are colored and act as the technical Sketchy the TWD series and the Crossed are here no undead Walker / Zombies, but infected psychopaths who follow only their perverse instincts. However, it appears in two rows that the threat may also come from the disease, which in TWD but increasingly becomes the focus of the story than in Crossed. Therefore I TWD is more, since human society-rayed, so classic Romero-style man's behavior is analyzed and presented in extreme situations. Nevertheless, Crossed, which at least Vol. 1 and 2 are concerned, MMN a very readable comic series, but only for mentally consolidated and mature adults.
